Description
In JIMMY BUCKLEY LIVE IN CONCERT, the popular Irish singer-songwriter pays tribute to one of his earliest influences, Elvis Presley, and more as he performs a mix of Irish, country and rock 'n' roll favorites mixed with a little bit of comedy. Taped at the Iontas Theatre in Castleblayney County, Ireland in 2006, the program features Jimmy Buckley's band, a three-part vocal group and an enthusiastic audience that sings and claps along to "Gonna Roll Out the Red Carpet," "Tennessee Border" and Cat Stevens' "Here Comes My Baby." Other songs include: the poignant "Your Wedding Day" and "Her Husband and Her Lover," a medley of "Don't Be Cruel" and "Teddy Bear," and a rocking rendition of "Boney Maronie."
