The new 26-part series A TASTE OF LOUISIANA WITH CHEF JOHN FOLSE & CO. — LOUISIANA COOKING WITH A CHANGE OF HEART X features healthier, but still tasty, versions of Louisiana family recipes that have been handed down for generations. In a heart-healthy fashion, Chef Folse invites a guest to bring in an old family recipe, such as jambalaya or chicken gumbo, and then prepares his version of the dish in his studio-kitchen before an audience from the guest's hometown. The object is to make the recipe healthier, without altering the flavor.
