Boston, Mass. (Tuesday, April 5, 2005) APT Worldwide, the international sales division of U.S. public television distributor American Public Television, will offer nine new titles at MIP this April 11 – 15, 2005. The new titles add to the current music, doc, nature, science and lifestyle genres in APT Worldwide's non-fiction catalog. APT Worldwide will be based at booth number 16.23 during the market.
The new titles include: The Hydrogen Age (1x60), a fascinating look at how hydrogen is poised to become the clean, renewable resource that solves the world's energy concerns; Small Fortunes: Microcredit and the Future of Poverty (1x60), a high-definition documentary that examines a revolutionary loan system that is helping to break the cycle of Third World poverty; MHz Presents (51x30), a concert series featuring intimate performances and interviews with artists on the cutting-edge of the music scene; Unspoiled Planet (13x30), an award-winning series that showcases wildlife off-the-beaten path; Where Words Prevail (1x60), a behind-the-scenes look at the acting profession with Cicely Berry, the renowned voice director of the Royal Shakespeare Company; A Crisis of Faith (1x60), a documentary that examines the developing spiritual crisis in modern societies; Barbecue University (39x30), a unique cooking series featuring innovative ideas from the foremost authority on grilling; Portrait of a Radical: The Jesus Movement (1x60), a startling new perspective on the influential life and "subversive" teachings of Jesus Christ; and Quest for the Grail: The Western Path (1x60), a documentary that captures the drama of spiritual quests through a retelling of the story of the Holy Grail.
